Senior Executive– Quality Assurance (FMCG)

Can speak chinese.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Management &
    • Compliance

  • Manage and improve Food Safety Management Systems (

    FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP

    )

  • Ensure compliance with

    Food Regulations 1985 and JAKIM Halal standards

  1. Audit Management

  • Lead internal, external, and certification audits (BRCGS)
  • Drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to closure

  1. QC Operations &
    • Lab Management

  • Oversee QC lab testing (texture, water activity, microbiology)
  • Approve or reject final products

  1. Supplier Quality

  • Conduct supplier audits
  • Manage raw material specifications (flour, fats, seasonings, etc.)

  1. Customer &
    • Product Quality

  • Handle customer complaints and root cause analysis
  • Manage product traceability & mock recall systems

  1. Team Leadership

  • Train and mentor teams on GMP, hygiene, and CCP monitoring
  • Build a strong quality culture across production

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science / Food Technology / Microbiology / Chemistry
  • Master’s Degree is an added advantage

Experience

  • 5-10 years in food manufacturing QA/QC/QM
  • 5–10 years in a managerial role
  • Must have experience in FMCG (snacks & biscuits manufacturing)

Certifications &

  • Knowledge

  • Certified Internal Auditor (

    FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000

    )

  • Strong knowledge of:
  • BRCGS
  • HACCP
  • JAKIM Halal Standards

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on with:
  • Moisture analyzers
  • Texture analyzers
  • Water activity meters
  • Microbiological testing (TPC, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Statistical Quality Control (Control Charts)
  • Root Cause Analysis (Fishbone, 5 Whys)
  • Proficient in MS Excel &
    • PowerPoint
