We are seeking a Production & Safety Engineer to support daily production operations while ensuring compliance with workplace safety, health, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining safe manufacturing practices, improving process efficiency, and supporting GMP and HACCP compliance within the factory.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Support
- Support daily production activities to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets
- Assist in process improvement, troubleshooting, and reduction of downtime or wastage
- Monitor production practices to ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and quality requirements
- Work closely with Production, QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational reviews
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, DOSH regulations, and company safety policies
- Conduct HIRARC, workplace safety inspections, and hazard identification in production areas
- Monitor machine safety, PPE usage, and safe work practices
- Assist in incident, near‑miss, and unsafe condition investigations
- Support safety training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness activities
- Coordinate and prepare for DOSH inspections, audits, and internal safety audits
- Prepare and maintain safety and production-related reports, records, and SOPs
- Support audits and documentation related to GMP / HACCP / ISO
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, or equivalent).
- Safety certification (NIOSH, HIRARC, OSH modules) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 1-5 years of experience in production and safety, preferably in manufacturing or packaging industries.
- Familiar with risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety documentation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills
- Willing to be hands-on and work on the production floor
