Industrial Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization &
- Improvement
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Design and implement process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating times and work measurement benchmarks.
Line Balancing &
- Workflow Management
- Develop and maintain line balancing strategies to ensure smooth and efficient production flow.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.
- Monitor and optimize work-in-progress (WIP) levels across production lines.

- Ensure consistency in process execution across all production lines and shifts.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing process standards and layout plans.
Data Analysis &

- Prepare regular performance reports and present findings to the Engineering Manager and cross-functional teams.
- Track and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, cycle time, yield rate, and productivity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support continuous improvement projects.
- Represent the Engineering Department in cross-functional meetings and provide engineering insights to support operational decisions.
- Support training and development of production staff on new processes and improvement methodologies.
Engineering Support
- Assist in the planning and execution of plant layout changes, equipment upgrades, and capacity expansion projects.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team on new product introduction (NPI) and engineering change management.
- Provide technical support to resolve production-related engineering issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within an Engineering function.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint);
experience with ERP systems or AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously within the Engineering Department.
