Audit Senior Manager Job Description

· Client Engagement Management:

  • Oversee multiple external audit engagements, ensuring they are executed in accordance with auditing standards “ISA” and firm policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and managing client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business and industry.
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional services and add value to clients.
· Team Leadership:
  • Lead and manage audit teams, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance audit team.
· Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of audit workpapers, financial statements, and related deliverables.
  • Review and approve audit reports and other client deliverables.
· Risk Assessment and Planning:
  • Conduct risk assessments for assigned clients and develop audit plans based on identified risks.
  • Ensure efficient resource allocation and staffing for audit engagements.
· Technical Expertise:
  • Have experience audit a group of Listed Companies or handle any Initial Offerings, Due diligence, corporate exercise and etc engagement is an added advantage.
  • Provide technical guidance to audit teams on complex accounting and auditing issues.
· Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
  • Oversee the resolution of regulatory and compliance issues.
Audit Senior Manager Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as ACCA, CPA is typically required.
  • Membership of MIA is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of related experience in a reputable accounting firm for Senior positions and above.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting (MPERS, MFRS and IFRS) and auditing standards (ISA), regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Travel to different states within and outside Malaysia for audit engagements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
  • Client-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
