This is a hands-on, full-stack engineering role where you’ll work directly on high-impact features, shaping the core platform that powers Glade’s AI-driven automation.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">As part of a fast-growing company, you’ll be building at startup speed, solving complex technical challenges, and positioning yourself for rapid career growth and leadership opportunities as we scale.</p><h2><br>What You’ll Do</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design, build, and ship scalable, high-performance applications in a modern TypeScript/React/Node.js stack.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to deliver impactful features end-to-end.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Contribute to architecture decisions and help evolve our codebase for speed, reliability, and maintainability.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Write clean, testable code and champion best engineering practices.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Learn quickly, iterate quickly, and have a direct impact on product direction.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2>What We’re Looking For</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">3+ years of experience as a software engineer building production-grade web applications.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong skills using TypeScript/React/CSS on the frontend, and experience with modern TypeScript/Node.js/PostgreSQL-based backends.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Solid understanding of software design, APIs, and scalable system architecture.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>How to stand out in this interview application process:</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">Put yourself in our shoes. We want to understand why you built this, what tradeoffs you made, and how you decided what mattered.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrate engineering thinking. We care about structure, state management, data modeling, edge cases, and how the feature could evolve if it became part of a real product.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Be accessible outside of Claude Artifacts. Please host it, share a repo, or provide a deployed link so we can see how you package and present your work.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">As a Sr. Engineer, if you have presented a brown bag to your peers - you could present that in an abridged form to one of your interview pairs.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em">You are welcome to use AI tools while building. In fact, we expect great engineers to use them. But the final result should not feel like a default generated demo. It should reflect your taste, your judgment, and your ability to turn an ambiguous product idea into something useful.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">We will be looking less at the size of what you build and more at the quality of your decisions.
