Additionally, this role will assist with intradepartmental compliance and technology initiatives, as well as drafting educational content to improve compliance awareness and effectiveness. This role will interact with other business leaders to help drive Compliance initiatives across various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in financial services compliance roles or regulatory environments.<p></p><p></p><p><b>Job Description</b></p><p><b><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Duties/Responsibilities</span> </b></p><ul><li>Act as compliance liaison for assigned areas and assist with creating a culture of compliance through training, engagement and providing consistent feedback on compliance standards.</li><li>Responsible for the identification, analysis, communication and resolution of advertising deficiencies, lead generation practices, agent conduct, and other compliance issues for assigned areas.</li><li>Review life insurance and annuity marketing material for compliance with applicable regulations. </li><li>Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures and educational material.</li><li>Work with internal and external partners on vetting and implementing compliance and business initiatives.</li><li>Participate in compliance projects, such as onboarding new technology, and serve as backup to other functions as needed.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Qualifications</span></b></p><p><b><span>Minimum Job Requirements</span></b></p><ul><li>Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience</li><li>5+ years relevant experience</li><li>Background in the insurance industry or compliance-related position preferred</li><li>Experience with insurance/securities advertising review requirements preferred</li><li>Skill in using computer applications including MS Office</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to communicate well to both senior management and sales professionals.</span></li><li><span>Ability to build business partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.</span></li><li><span>Ability to prioritize work appropriately to ensure we focus our resources on the highest-risk matters.</span></li><li>Develop and expand industry knowledge through various learning opportunities.</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>What AmeriLife Offers</b></p><p></p><p>A comprehensive benefits package that includes PTO, medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, disability insurance, and life insurance.</p><p></p><p><b>Equal Employment Opportunity Statement</b></p><p>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity at all levels of the organization.
