We champion an inclusive culture and strive to attract and develop a talented workforce to create and deliver a wide range of content reflecting our world.<br /> <br /> Job Description<br /> <br /> The Global Accounts Payable Manager - Operations will be a fast, clear and independent thinker who is naturally curious about end-to-end processes, is metrics and number savvy with an analytical mindset, has proven change management experience and has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric and ever-changing environment.<br /> <br /> The candidate will work closely with the AP Business Partnership team and the business process outsourcer (BPO). The candidate will be part of the larger Global Finance Operations (GFO) team. The GFO team focus is on globalizing, standardizing and centralizing processes and procedures. This role will specifically support the Global Accounts Payable processes.<br /> <br /> Here you can:<br /> <br /> Service Delivery<br /> • Maintain working knowledge of the industry in addition to the NBCU AP control framework and processes.<br /> • Understand all aspects of the Accounts Payable function including vendor relations, vendor master data maintenance, invoice processing, disbursements, vendor reconciliations, aged AP items and Help Desk.<br /> • Work closely with BPO provider in monitoring service delivery via process metrics and KPI.<br /> • Resolve or advance issues that come through the Accounts Payable Helpdesk.<br /> • Work with vendors, finance teams, and internal customers to resolve escalated Accounts Payable issues.<br /> <br /> Continuous Improvements<br /> • Provide recommendations to the Global P2P Global Process Owner (GPO) on process improvement and technology opportunities and operationalize on standardization initiatives.<br /> <br /> Standards and Controls<br /> • Ensure compliance to existing policies and procedures, and adherence to regulatory and audit requirements.<br /> • Support internal and external audit requests and follow-up.<br /> • Prepare and review updates to desktop procedures on new and existing processes ensuring the NBCU AP Controls are operationalized.<br /> <br /> Qualifications<br /> <br /> Here you'll need:<br /> • 7+ years' experience in P2P environment<br /> • Exhibit a high degree of customer service<br /> • Working knowledge of financial controls, with varied experience in P2P areas<br /> • Experience in the entertainment industry preferred<br /> • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required<br /> • CPA or MBA desirable<br /> • Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g. green belt, black belt, master black belt or other) desirable<br /> <br /> Desired Characteristics:<br /> • Proven self-starter, able to consistently deliver without requiring significant oversight and direction.<br /> • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.<br /> • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management and customers.<br /> • Advanced Customer Service Skills.<br /> • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, and a clear understanding of how assigned responsibilities impact other processes and the work of other people.<br /> • Previous experience working with remote teams, international experience a considerable plus.<br /> • Ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend permanent solutions to prevent repeat issues.<br /> <br /> Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the Orlando, FL office a minimum of four days per week.
