Listing Partner — Georgia Real Estate License Required

About the position

Opendoor is rebuilding the home buying and selling experience to provide homeowners and prospective homeowners with more certainty, choice, and less friction. Its Resale Listing Partners are licensed real estate professionals who serve as the primary point of contact for buyer’s agents from offer through close on Opendoor-owned homes. They negotiate on behalf of Opendoor, coordinate with internal teams and title partners, and help ensure smooth, on-time closings and a strong agent and buyer experience. Opendoor is building a remote Listing Partner team in Georgia for professionals with an active Georgia real estate license. The role focuses on learning Opendoor’s playbook, mastering its tools, and building negotiation and communication skills. Training, clear processes, and coaching are provided to support employees as they ramp up to manage a high volume of listings and contracts. The position is full-time, with flexibility needed during peak-volume periods and required weekend coverage. Listing Partners collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams, and performance is assessed through a balanced scorecard that includes conversion, fallthroughs, negotiation outcomes, title attach, time from pending to close, and customer experience. The company offers performance-based incentive pay, training, tools, coaching, and a benefits package that includes health coverage and other company programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own offer-to-close communications with buyer’s agents on assigned Opendoor listings and serve as their primary point of contact throughout the transaction.
  • Negotiate offers and terms, including price, concessions, repairs, and timelines, within Opendoor guidelines while balancing conversion, margin, and customer experience.
  • Oversee transactions through closing by the deadline, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and keep files moving.
  • Manage repair negotiations by reviewing inspection reports, using internal tools and workflows, and presenting clear, data-backed counters to buyer’s agents.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation in internal systems, including offer details, counter terms, repair decisions, and key milestones.
  • Monitor the health of assigned listings, with particular attention to long-days-on-market homes and higher-risk transactions, and escalate when additional support or strategy is needed.
  • Deliver excellent agent and buyer experiences through proactive communication, expectation setting, and timely follow-up by phone, email, and text.
  • Adopt and champion tools and processes, including negotiation models, automation, AI-powered workflows, and transaction coordinator support, to improve productivity and deal quality.

Requirements

  • Active Georgia real estate license.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, including comfort on the phone, ability to explain complex terms simply, and ability to advocate for a client while preserving relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage high transaction volume, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • High ownership mindset and comfort working cross-functionally to resolve issues involving title, inspections, HOAs, lenders, internal operations, and other parties.

Nice-to-haves

  • Active real estate salesperson license in any state, or ability to obtain one within a defined timeline before the start date, subject to business needs and brokerage requirements.
  • Experience listing and/or selling homes.
  • Experience in residential real estate, such as as a listing agent, buyer’s agent, or transaction coordinator, or directly transferable experience in high-volume negotiations or transaction management.
  • Familiarity with MLS, transaction management platforms, and CRM tools.
  • Prior experience in a centralized or inside-sales environment that relies heavily on phone and email.
  • Comfort using data and tools such as reports, dashboards, AI, and automation to inform decisions and prioritize time.

Benefits

  • Performance-based incentive pay aligned to outcomes the employee directly influences.
  • Training, tools, and coaching to support advancement to higher levels of impact and responsibility.
  • Benefits package including health coverage and other company programs; details are provided during the interview process.
