We're looking for a Lead Insight Analyst to work directly alongside our Kroger client team, delivering high-impact analytics that influence commercial decisions and drive measurable business outcomes.
This isn't a traditional reporting role. You'll be embedded within the client environment, acting as a trusted analytics partner, translating complex data into clear recommendations and responding to bespoke business questions from senior stakeholders.

What you'll be doing
As a Lead Insight Analyst, you'll work closely with Kroger stakeholders and Retail Insight colleagues to deliver analysis that supports strategic and operational decision-making.Your responsibilities will include
- Acting as a trusted analytics partner within the Kroger business.
- Managing and delivering bespoke ad-hoc insight requests from stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Translating complex datasets into meaningful, actionable recommendations.
- Identifying trends, risks and opportunities within retail performance data.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to client stakeholders in a clear and engaging way.
- Leading analytical projects from initial brief through to delivery and implementation.
- Supporting and mentoring junior analysts where required.
- Collaborating with internal Retail Insight teams to ensure consistency, quality and best practice.
- Helping to shape and evolve insight solutions based on changing client needs.
We're particularly interested in people who have:
- Significant experience in data, analytics or insight-focused roles.
- Previous experience working directly with business stakeholders or clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience turning data into practical business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach to problem solving.
- Experience within grocery retail, FMCG or consumer-facing industries would be advantageous.
