Role Description
GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, full-time, remote Primary Care Validation Coder to support coding quality and compliance initiatives. In this role, you will perform secondary reviews of coded medical records to ensure accurate assignment of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier coding in accordance with client guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate has strong coding expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining coding accuracy and quality standards. This is a flexible, remote opportunity requiring full-time availability working during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
- Provide high-quality coding validation and quality assurance services.
- Review completed coding assignments and identify coding discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable coding guidelines and documentation requirements.
- Perform validation of AI coded E/M and diagnoses for Primary Care.
- Review and verify ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier assignments.
- Identify coding errors, documentation gaps, and compliance concerns.
- Provide detailed feedback and rationale for coding corrections when necessary.
- Maintain client-specific productivity and accuracy standards.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifier usage, and CMS/AAPC coding guidelines.
- Experience reviewing E/M services, preventive visits, annual wellness visits, and office procedures.
- Ability to identify documentation deficiencies and coding opportunities.
- Experience with EPIC and other EMR platforms preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated accuracy rate of 95% or higher.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to provide clear coding rationale.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
