They will own partnership account plan strategy development and execution. They will work<br>closely with a broad network of internal partners to define and deliver innovative solutions. These<br>solutions will demonstrate our total value proposition to convey substantial and sustained impact for<br>both our customers and Thermo Fisher Scientific. They will be responsible for leading high-performance<br>Account Management Teams. These teams are in an intercultural, diverse, virtual, matrix environment.<br>They will often have to ensure alignment on overall partnership strategy in the face of competing<br>interests and priorities.<br>This role offers a truly unique opportunity to work closely with the full suite of Thermo Fisher Scientific<br>products and capabilities. You will collaborate with the leaders who are responsible for them, and our<br>most strategic customers who rely on them every day.<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>• Translate deep customer insights into meaningful partnership opportunities in the clinical<br>diagnostics and reference lab space that deliver value to both our customers and Thermo Fisher<br>• Lead the AMTs in the creation of overall account strategy, demonstrating our breadth and depth<br>of capabilities to create high-impact, innovative, science- and customer-centric solutions<br>• Build credible, influential relationships with a broad network of internal and external partners,<br>and help facilitate customer access for our divisional colleagues<br>• Actively engage with partnership executive sponsors and members of the Thermo Fisher<br>Leadership Team to extend customer value creation<br>• Act as the primary interface between our strategic partners and Thermo Fisher, managing<br>governance activities, sourcing new needs/opportunities, and supporting resolution of critical<br>issues in Healthcare<br>• Negotiate large and sophisticated deal structures with healthcare compliance considerations<br>incorporated<br>• Lead, manage, and mentor a team, fostering an inclusive, and honest work environment that<br>champion our 4i values<br>• Promote a leadership culture that prioritizes people development and maintains high team<br>morale<br>Keys to Success:<br>Education<br>• B.Sc. or B.A. degree, preferably in a scientific field (chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical<br>engineering); MBA or professional business education is highly desirable<br>Experience<br>• Minimum of 7 years in a senior level account management or business development position<br>within clinical diagnostics, reference lab, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or laboratory supply<br>sectors<br>• Proven track record of effective leadership and people management skills<br>• Extensive experience working within a matrix environment and driving alignment on a common<br>purpose<br>• Strong business and financial skill, including understanding of the P&L drivers, dynamics, and<br>trade-offs<br>• Deep and sincere passion for creating an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative team<br>environment<br>• Positive demeanor and resiliency to changing business environments<br>• Ability to spend significant time on site at global customer locations<br>• Experience calling into large, clinical reference laboratories strongly preferred<br>We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee<br>benefits.
