Column Five is a B2B marketing agency that specializes in brand and content marketing for SaaS companies.
We're hiring a freelance copy editor to work with us on project-based marketing copy, typically 5- 40 hours per project. Our editors work directly with C5's internal team and sometimes work directly with our clients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR COPY EDITORS
- 4+ years of professional copy editing experience in B2B tech, SaaS, or developer-focused content with some writing experience
- Proficiency in enforcing brand style guides for consistency across all content
- Portfolio demonstrating ability to edit and refine complex technical content into clear, compelling copy
- Strong research abilities and thorough fact-checking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot minute errors and inconsistencies
- Experience editing both short-form and long-form content across various marketing materials
- Able to self-manage your projects and thrive in an autonomous work environment
- Comfort working in Google Docs (tracking changes) and making edits directly in Figma or CRM

COMPENSATION

WRITING SAMPLES
