Docket Specialist, Litigation

While this position will be part of a national docketing team, specific knowledge of Midwest/Central Region knowledge and experience electronic filing with local courts is required. This position will report to the Manager, Litigation Docket.  This is a remote position and must be located near a Dentons office.</p> </td> </tr> <tr style="height:19.5pt"> <td valign="top"> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> </td> </tr> <tr style="height:27.0pt"> <td valign="top"> <p>•  Enter data into the firm's docketing and calendar system. <br>•  Calculate rule-based litigation deadlines. <br>•  Generate docket reports and queries as requested by attorneys, paralegals and legal  administrative assistants. <br>•  Monitor cases with the use of various online resources. <br>•  Handle all inquiries from attorneys, paralegals and secretaries in a timely and efficient manner. <br>•  Assist with service of court documents. <br>•  Perform electronic court filings in Federal, State and Appellate Courts. <br>•  Other duties as assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position.</p> </td> </tr> <tr style="height:19.5pt"> <td valign="top"> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> </td> </tr> <tr style="height:27.0pt"> <td valign="top"> <p>•  Bachelor’s Degree preferred. <br>•  Minimum 3 years docketing experience required. <br>•  Knowledge of basic litigation docketing, calendaring and Civil Procedure. <br>•  Experience utilizing docketing software such as Milana, eDockets, etc. <br>•  Knowledge of various court websites, docket searching and document retrieval databases (PACER, File & ServeXpress, etc.). <br>•  Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and filing procedures. <br>•  Proficient with Microsoft Office suite applications including Outlook, Excel and Word. <br>•  Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment. <br>•  Ability to work proactively (without significant guidance) to trouble shoot and problem solve. <br>•  Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. <br>•  Available to work overtime as needed.</p> <p>Salary:  $70k to $90k DOE and location.</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p> </p><p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Dentons US LLP offers a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, profit sharing, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays and discretionary bonuses. </span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><em>Dentons US LLP is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability/Vet.
