Job Description: Position Summary The ASRS Fault Recovery Technician is an entry level role responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) by responding to system faults, performing defined recovery actions, and maintaining safe and organized work areas. This role focuses on restoring system functionality within established procedures while adhering to all safety and compliance standards. Essential Functions To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Monitor ASRS system alerts and respond to faults in a timely manner Execute established fault recovery procedures to restore system operations Identify and escalate non-routine, recurring, or complex system issues to maintenance personnel Safely clear product jams and minor obstructions in accordance with safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of ASRS equipment and surrounding work areas Follow all safety protocols, including equipment guarding requirements and defined work boundaries Communicate system status, issues, and shift updates to operations, maintenance, and leadership teams Accurately document activities, observations, and system interactions in designated tracking systems Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Demonstrated ability to follow written procedures and adhere to established protocols Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work around automated equipment Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment Exposure to automation systems, conveyors, or ASRS technology Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to enter and track work in system tools Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
