Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time Temporary Assignment
- Assignment Length: Approximately 3-4 months
- Openings: 2 Positions Available
- Location: Fully Remote
- Pay Rate: $23.00 - $27.00/hour
- Schedule: 40 hours per week - Either: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

NEXTAFF is assisting our client with the search for two Accounts Payable Clerks to join their accounting team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Accounts Payable professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, managing high-volume transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
To be considered, candidates must have:
- Prior Accounts Payable experience
- Experience working within NetSuite
- Strong data entry and invoice processing experience
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently for payment.
- Track purchase orders and validate data between purchase orders and invoices.
- Research and respond to inquiries related to invoices, expenses, and payment requests.
- Assist with discrepancy resolution and reconciliation activities.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate vendor records.
- Support vendor payment plans and credit limit management.
- Perform high-volume data entry and spreadsheet management.
- Assist with monthly close activities and AP accrual journal entries.
- Organize and route accounts payable reports for review and approval.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Support additional accounting and administrative projects as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- 2-3 years of Accounts Payable or accounting-related experience.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work while meeting deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
