As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consultant to support client implementations and deliver exceptional outcomes.</div><div></div><div></div><div><b>The Role</b></div><div>The Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consultant is a client-facing role responsible for the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday Absence and Time Tracking solutions. This role focuses on external client delivery across full lifecycle implementations and post-production optimization.</div><div></div><div>The ideal candidate brings strong functional knowledge of Absence and Time Tracking and can translate business requirements into effective, scalable system configurations.</div><div>This role is remote-first, with travel aligned to client needs.</div><div></div><div></div><div><b>Key Responsibilities</b></div><div></div><div></div><div><b>Client Implementation & Delivery</b></div><ul><li>Support end-to-end Workday Absence and Time Tracking implementations</li><li>Participate in discovery and design sessions to gather business requirements</li><li>Configure Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules</li><li>Assist in translating client needs into functional system design</li></ul><div></div><div><b>Solution Design & Configuration</b></div><ul><li>Configure key areas including: absence plans and accruals, time tracking rules and validations, work schedules and calendars, time entry, approvals,, and exceptions</li><li>Support functional design documentation</li><li>Validate system configurations with client stakeholders</li></ul><div></div><div><b>Testing & Deployment</b></div><ul><li>Support system testing and validation</li><li>Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT)</li><li>Help guide clients through go-live readiness</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues</li></ul><div></div><div><b>Post-Production Support</b></div><ul><li>Support clients with enhancements and optimization</li><li>Provide guidance on Workday updates and new features</li><li>Assist with reporting and audit support related to Absence and Time Tracking</li></ul><div></div><div><b>Travel Expectations</b></div><ul><li>Travel up to 20–30%, depending on client requirements</li><li>Travel typically tied to key milestones such as design workshops or go-live</li><li>Majority of delivery conducted virtually</li></ul><div></div><div><b>Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>2–5 years of Workday Absence and/or Time Tracking experience</li><li>Workday Absence and/or Time Tracking certification preferred</li><li>Experience supporting Workday implementations or post-production support</li><li>Strong understanding of time tracking and leave policies</li><li>Ability to work directly with clients and gather requirements</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li></ul><div></div><div><b>What Sets You Apart</b></div><ul><li>Experience with complex absence plans and accrual rules</li><li>Knowledge of time tracking integrations (payroll, scheduling, etc.)</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Experience working in a consulting environment</li></ul><div></div><div><b>Why The Groove</b></div><ul><li>Remote-first flexibility</li><li>High-growth consulting environment</li><li>Competitive compensation and performance incentives</li><li>Opportunity to work on impactful Workday implementations</li><li>Culture grounded in People, Integrity, Knowledge, Collaboration, Flexibility, and Innovation</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>EEO Policy: </b></u></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>The Groove is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
