You review, sign, and deliver US tax returns across a range of complexity levels, provide clear and constructive feedback to Associates, and support seamless client delivery in close coordination with Client Success Managers.</p> <p> </p> <p>This role is ideal for a credentialed tax professional who leads through quality, takes ownership of their work, and is ready to serve as a technical anchor within the team. Seniors do not manage client relationships independently or lead pods, but they play a meaningful role in elevating the team around them through rigorous review, thoughtful coaching, and reliable delivery.</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Key Responsibilities</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Technical</span></p> <ul> <li>Review, sign, and deliver US expat tax returns across complexity levels, with a focus on specialty areas such as country-specific returns, Form 5471, Form 3520, Form 1120, and others as assigned.</li> <li>Continue preparing returns as needed, particularly in niche or specialty areas.</li> <li>Maintain consistent formatting, documentation standards, and technical accuracy across all work product.</li> <li>Provide clear, constructive review notes that support the development of Associates.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Delivery</span></p> <ul> <li>Draft client-ready delivery messages for the Client Success Manager to work with.</li> <li>Coordinate with CSMs, Associates, and Managers to ensure a seamless and on-time delivery flow.</li> <li>Handle client debrief calls or follow-up clarifications occasionally.</li> <li>Meet on-time delivery expectations in line with workboard assignments and production calendars.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Peer Development</span></p> <ul> <li>Offer guidance to Associates through detailed review notes and shared learning moments.</li> <li>Share observations with your Manager regarding team member readiness, including promotion-readiness or performance concerns.</li> <li>Participate in Reviewer Roundtables and Office Hours.</li> <li>Contribute to quality and consistency across pods, even without a formal leadership designation.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">What You Bring</span></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in US expat tax preparation and signing.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with international forms including Form 2555, Form 1116, and Form 8833. Experience with Form 5471, Form 8865, Form 8858, Form 3520, and Form 8621 is strongly preferred.</li> <li>Proven ability to review tax returns across varying complexity levels with accuracy and consistency.</li> <li>BA in Accounting, Tax or a related field.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, clear and professional in both client-facing and internal contexts.</li> <li>Proactive, self-motivated, and reliable, with the ability to manage workload independently within a fully remote team structure.</li> <li>Willingness to contribute as a team player, support Associates, and coordinate across internal teams.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-weight: bold">Nice to Have</span></p> <ul> <li>Current US CPA license or IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) status.
