Supervising Therapist

The Tulare County Public Health Branch under the Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA) is actively recruiting for a Supervising Therapist to join the California Children's Services program, particularly with the Medical Therapy Unit (MTU). This recruitment will establish an employment list to fill immediate and future vacancies throughout Tulare County's Public Health branch.The MTU Program utilizes therapist staff to provide occupational and/or physical therapy services for neurologically and/or physically impaired clients from birth to 21 years of age. There are two MTU locations, Visalia and Porterville, and a satellite location in Tulare. The Supervising Therapist will be stationed in Visalia but may have to travel to other sites if necessary. The Supervising Therapist will provide lead supervision for and coordinate the work of therapists, therapist assistants, therapy aides, and office assistants and confer with the medical consultant and Public Health Manager (CCS Administrator) to ensure that the therapy program is effective.
