Reporting to the Production IPT Lead - CDH (Command & Data Handling) the Sr. Test Software Engineer will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining software systems for Qualification and Production AFT/ATP testing of CDH electronic modules installed in satellite buses. Key Duties and Responsibilities Software Development and Maintenance: Own the full software lifecycle for key product lines: requirements, architecture adaptation and design trade-offs, implementation, integration, verification, deployment, and sustainment. Design, develop, and maintain LabVIEW/TestStand-based software applications for automated test systems, implementing efficient, reusable, reliable, and scalable software solutions to automate testing processes for electronic modules in satellite buses. System Integration and Testing: Lead integration of test and measurement hardware, including NI equipment (PXI, cRIO, DAQ, instrumentation) and other related equipment vendors, integrating software with various hardware components and systems used in aerospace testing environments. Conduct thorough testing and validation of software to ensure reliability and accuracy, troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues in production and environmental test environments. Technical Leadership and Collaboration: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, offering technical reviews, coaching, and career growth support.
