Sports Science Graduate Role – OHT Royston

<p><b>Contract</b>: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm</p><p><b>Location</b>: Royston with ad hoc travel as required</p><p><b>Salary</b>: £26,325 per annum</p><p>Are you a graduate in Sports Science, or similar field, ready to put your passion for health and performance into action?</p><p>At Medigold Health, we’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, proactive individuals to join our dynamic team as Occupational Health Technicians. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in a growing and rewarding industry.</p><p><b>What Does the Role Involve?</b></p><p>As an Occupational Health Technician, you’ll be part of a team that helps organisations look after the health and wellbeing of their employees. You\'ll work on-site in Royston, with some travel to client sites, to deliver a variety of health assessments that support early detection of health issues and promote long-term wellbeing at work.</p><p>Your day-to-day might include:</p><ul><li>Carrying out health surveillance tests such as:</li></ul><p>- Audiometry (hearing tests)</p><p>- Spirometry (lung function tests)</p><p>- Skin prick allergy testing</p><p>- Vision screening</p><p>- Venepuncture (blood draws) – we’ll give you full training</p><ul><li>Preparing and maintaining equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely</li><li>Identifying results that need follow-up and escalating them to our clinical team</li><li>Supporting health promotion initiatives, like wellness events or wellbeing campaigns</li><li>Helping to improve processes, ensuring we keep our service efficient, effective, and patient-focused</li><li>Completing clinical paperwork and updating health records accurately</li></ul><p>No two days are quite the same. You’ll be working independently much of the time, so being confident, organised and self-motivated is key. Throughout your role, you’ll be supported by a friendly, experienced clinical team every step of the way.</p><p>This role is a great opportunity to get hands-on clinical experience, develop your skills, and build a solid foundation for a career in occupational health.</p><p><b>Who are we looking for?</b></p><p>This role is perfect for you if you:</p><ul><li>Have a degree in <b>Sports Science</b>, <b>Physiology</b>, <b>Health & Exercise Science</b>, or a related field</li><li>Are a great communicator with excellent organisational skills</li><li>Are hands-on, motivated, and excited about improving health outcomes in the workplace</li><li>Have a full clean driving licence and access to a car</li><li>Want to build a career with purpose and progression</li></ul><p>Bonus points if you have experience as an EMT, Occupational Health Technician, or in nursing, but it’s not essential.
