They will work closely with other team members to maintain internal applications and develop new products and services.</p><ul><li>Work with stakeholders, technology, and agile project managers to define business requirements for every scrum / project and map out end-to-end solutions</li><li>Design, develop, enhance, modify, and maintain application code and software solutions based on specific business requirements</li><li>Liaise with internal user groups as needed to effectively program applications based on business and systems requirements</li><li>Ensures that functional specifications can be implemented technically while developing and innovating creative solutions</li><li>Be an integral part of the Information System’s team focused on the effective development and support of internal facing applications</li><li>Work collaboratively with peers and business partners to deliver high quality projects and innovative solutions that advance Fidelity’s position within the Mutual Fund Industry</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What We’re Looking For</b></p><ul><li>Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Economics or Mathematics or equivalent experience</li><li>2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in the financial services/mutual fund/ Investment industry</li><li>Experience with full stack development practices including Angular, Java and/or python</li><li>Development experience in Progress OpenEdge or other database platforms such as Oracle or MySQL</li><li>Effective communication skills with ability to prepare project documentation & presentations</li><li>Knowledge and experience in developing applications for Fundserv's products is preferred</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The Skills You Bring</b></p><ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communications</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Strong analytical, conceptual, and innovative problem-solving abilities</li><li>Ability to work independently while being in a team environment</li><li>Strong technical insight and experience to inform, guide, challenge and support technical decisions</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Total Rewards That Reflect Your Impact</b></p><p>We believe exceptional work deserves exceptional recognition.
