Shape the future of the Internet

As a presales solutions engineer (TSA), you’ll define Cloud/Linode solutions during the sales lifecycle. You’ll guide customers through strategic and technical Cloud transformation decisions while driving Linode service adoption. You’ll serve as a thought-leader in cloud computing within Akamai and externally.

As a Senior Technical Solution Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving Linode opportunities as a cloud pre-sales engineer, supporting accounts, and owning technical sales efforts.
  • Ensuring customer success and Linode consumption within the integrated account team.
  • Driving innovation in solutions and products while promoting trends and influencing the global product roadmap.
  • Building technical expertise in Cloud Computing/Linode to support Akamai\'s overall business growth.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Possess extensive professional experience including relevant experience in customer-facing technical roles with cloud-related organizations.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in architecting IaaS solutions for customers. Hold professional certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle and/or CNCF.
  • Show hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, cloud networking, database, storage, AI, IaC, gaming, or media.
  • Show expertise and practical skills in open-source software like Apache, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Terraform.
  • Communicate complex technical content effectively through writing, speaking, and presenting to diverse audiences.
