Job Summary

As a Senior Technical Architect – Dell Technologies, you will be a trusted technical advisor and subject‑matter expert responsible for helping customers design, modernize, and optimize their on‑premises and hybrid infrastructure using the Dell Technologies portfolio. You will lead complex technical engagements across the sales lifecycle—shaping solution strategy, influencing architectural decisions, and ensuring customers achieve measurable business outcomes. This role supports Softchoice’s Dell business by enabling sales teams and strengthening strategic partnerships with Dell field organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Architect end‑to‑end infrastructure solutions leveraging Dell Technologies, including compute, storage, data protection, HCI, and hybrid cloud platforms.
  • Translate customer business and technical requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure solution designs.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and Bill of Materials aligned to customer outcomes.
  • Serve as the senior technical resource on Dell‑focused opportunities, supporting customer meetings, workshops, presentations, and evaluations.
  • Partner closely with sales teams to define solution strategy, scope opportunities, and support Statements of Work.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the opportunity lifecycle, from discovery through close.
  • Act as a long‑term trusted advisor, helping customers with infrastructure modernization, lifecycle planning, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
