Ready to make an impact?</p> <p> </p> <p>As a <strong>Senior Business Sales Advisor</strong>, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service for all products and promotions offered to our small business customers. You will be a key contributor in TDS’s overall strategy to grow, delight, and retain our small business customers.  You will be responsible for generating sales, growing TDS revenue, and increasing product penetration. You will manage moves, adds, changes and deletions to existing small business accounts and proactively reach out to up-sell and cross sell our existing small business customer accounts.</p> <p> </p> <p>The hours for this role will be Monday - Friday 8am-5pm CST / 9am-6pm EST / 6am-3pm PST.</p> <p> </p> <p>This position offers UNCAPPED commission!</p> <p> </p> <p>As a Senior Business Sales Advisor, you must have knowledge regarding voice and data and consult with prospects and existing small business customers about their needs. You will be required to manage the customer’s expectations throughout the sales process. You will work with the Business Sales Mentor and do side-by-side training with new employees to help ensure exceptional onboarding.</p> <p> </p> <p>You will also work with both internal and external customers to increase business and create solutions that serve the best interests of both our customers and TDS.</p> <p> </p> <p>This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue growth goals for products and services. Make regular contact with the existing small business customers. Place proactive existing customer contact calls to uncover sales opportunities to upsell. Serve as the resource for sales negotiation with existing small business accounts. Craft sales proposals based upon the customer/company impact prior to making a recommendation or decision. Actively manage existing small business accounts to ensure we retain and grow these accounts in the future. </li> <li>Take the lead role and manage customer relationship with business accounts.  Handle moves, adds, changes, and deletes for small business accounts. Maintain and update business through SFA (Sales Force Automation) and the BSR program.</li> <li>Work with the Business Sales Mentor to help new employees get up to speed, which includes side-by-side training.</li> <li>Customer follow-up on service orders and coordinate local technical teams and communicate with all other necessary teams as needed.</li> <li>Provide monthly referrals and lead generation to the outside and account management teams by utilizing current customer base, products, and promotions.</li> <li>Maintain personal knowledge on product and service offerings (including new and upcoming services, products, and promotions), contact information, contact database(s), and activity and outcome reporting.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years sales experience.</li> <li>1+ years customer service or telecommunications experience.</li> <li>Must follow the TDS attendance guidelines in order to meet TDS’s business needs including but not limited to our obligations to our customers and to our customers’ needs.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Self-motivated and comfortable accepting responsibility for achieving defined sales targets.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, oral and written.</li> <li>Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships.</li> <li>Advanced sales and/or customer service skills a plus.</li> <li>Ability to adapt to rapid change and fast-paced environment while incorporating time management skills.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, as well as SABRE, DESI, MetaSolv, CSG, and all customer information systems.</li> <li>Consistent, positive “can do” attitude.</li> <li>Willingness to help others.</li> <li>Training skills including communication and patience.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Do you meet the Required Qualifications but are unsure if your experience aligns with the Other Qualifications?
