As a Senior Business Consultant - Retail Fashion, you will be responsible to help our clients lead through this complexity, we are expanding our senior leadership bench with a heavy‑hitting Senior Business Consultant who will serve as the right hand to our FBH Partner , a figure widely respected across the industry for shaping executive thinking, influencing market direction, and leading some of the most iconic transformation programmes in retail. If you are motivated by the opportunity to operate at Partner-level, influence retail boardrooms, architect enterprise-scale change, and deliver meaningful, measurable value across some of the most recognisable retail brands in the world, this role is your platform. You will play a pivotal role in the origination, shaping, leadership, and successful execution of transformation programmes that span digital, supply chain, merchandising, store operations, commercial strategy, and customer experience. You will apply your deep fashion retail domain knowledge, grounded in merchandising and supply chain excellence and your consulting toolkit to bridge strategy into operational reality. You will serve as a senior voice of credibility, creativity and discipline, ensuring our clients’ transformation ambitions convert into real-world results. This is a role for someone who can confidently operate as a future Partner , combining thought leadership, governance strength, commercial acumen, and the ability to inspire and mobilise diverse teams towards shared outcomes. 1) Enterprise Transformation Leadership Co‑lead major enterprise transformation programmes , spanning commercial strategy, digital enablement, supply chain redesign, operating model evolution, and large‑scale organisational change. Translate business strategy into clear, practical, executable roadmaps with a strong link to P&L impact, customer outcomes, cost-to-serve, inventory efficiency, sustainability goals and operational performance. Provide day-to-day executive leadership , bringing structure, direction and momentum to multidisciplinary teams across consulting, client colleagues, technology partners and external vendors. Shape programme architecture, delivery sequencing, governance frameworks and the overarching transformation logic. 2) Client Development & Market Impact Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders (CEOs, COOs, CCOs, CTOs, CPOs, Chief Merchants), helping them navigate complex strategic decisions with clarity and conviction. Lead or contribute to industry thought leadership including articles, point‑of‑views, conference engagements, and roundtable events, positioning our practice as the go‑to authority for Retail Fashion transformation. Build and nurture long‑term client relationships that lead to multi‑year strategic partnerships. 3) Proposition & IP Development Strengthen and expand our proprietary fashion transformation frameworks , with specialism in omnichannel strategy, merchandising modernisation, supply chain resilience, inventory optimisation, customer experience transformation, and commercial performance improvement. Codify best practices, diagnostic tools, accelerators, and methods drawn from your industry and consulting experience. Contribute to our “Next Gen Fashion Retail” propositions, ensuring our practice evolves ahead of market demand. 4) Delivery Governance & Risk Leadership Take ownership of risk identification and mitigation , stepping into challenging situations with a cool head and a structured approach. Provide clear, executive‑level insights on programme health, risks, dependencies, trade-offs and change readiness. Build, coach and inspire high‑performing teams across consulting, client staff and blended delivery models. Elevate the capability and confidence of future leaders through mentoring, feedback, career guidance and structured development. Champion new ways of working across agile, hybrid, cross‑functional and multi‑geography teams. 6) Financial & Commercial Management Manage programme commercials, ensuring profitable delivery, appropriate phasing of costs, and transparent financial reporting. Shape engagement models and commercial structures that ensure win-win client outcomes. Contribute to the long-term P&L growth of the Retail Fashion practice. You will bring a fashion retail lens to everything you do. Omnichannel & Digital Commerce Shape omnichannel strategies that balance customer experience with economic sustainability. Define integrated digital and store experiences, fulfilment models, returns strategies and service architecture. Modernise end‑to‑end merchandising processes across planning, buying, assortment, pricing and in-season trading. Introduce advanced analytics, tools and automation to unlock margin, stock efficiency and brand elevation. Customer Experience Transformation Use insights, behavioural data and qualitative research to design experiences that lift loyalty, conversion and brand distinctiveness. Advocate for the customer voice throughout transformation. Proposition Development ~ Define and optimise value propositions, category roles, price architecture, private label strategies and product lifecycle dynamics. Professional experience in spanning consulting and senior roles within fashion retail organisations. Demonstrated track record of embedding AI and agentic decisioning into fashion retail transformations across design, buying, PLM , planning and supply chain, delivering measurable value through automation, smarter workflows and outcome led governance. Direct experience leading or governing large-scale transformation programmes . Depth in merchandising, supply chain, or omnichannel retail with hands‑on exposure early in your career. Rich consulting or transformation experience: strategy, operating model, transformation design, delivery governance, and C-suite influencing. Demonstrated success in delivering tangible commercial outcomes : margin growth, OTB optimisation, stock reduction, service improvement, customer engagement, digital attachment, cost efficiencies.
