This includes <strong>generous PTO</strong>, expanded <strong>CEU allowances</strong>, and access to cutting-edge <strong>AI note-taking tools</strong> to streamline documentation and reduce after-hours charting.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.</li><li>Assess the patient's mental status based on symptoms.</li><li>Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.</li><li>Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.</li><li>Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Licensed in New Mexico by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.</li><li>Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)</li><li>1 year of Geri Psych Experience.</li><li>1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Basic computer knowledge.</li><li>Excellent written communication.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations.</li><li>Fluency in Spanish is a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Generous base salary (base begins following the initial 30-day orientation and training period)</li><li>Flexible scheduling – see patients on your time.</li><li>Four (4) weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) annually.</li><li>9 paid holidays each year.</li><li>CEU Support.</li><li>Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.</li><li>Company-paid Life and AD&D insurance.</li><li>401(k) with company match.</li><li>Access to additional voluntary benefits, including Life, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Accident Insurance, and more.</li></ul></div></div>
