This role defines technical standards, oversees platform-wide solution design, ensures architectural alignment across business units, and collaborates closely with stakeholders, developers, and product teams to enable strategic business outcomes. </p><p></p><p><b>Key <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Responsibilities </span></b></p><ul><li>Lead the design and governance of Salesforce architecture </li><li>Define architectural strategy to support current and future business needs </li><li>Develop and maintain enterprise-level architectural standards, frameworks, and documentation </li><li>Advise on solution patterns, technical integrations, and platform capabilities </li><li>Provide technical oversight on major Salesforce initiatives </li><li>Review project and solution designs for compliance with architecture standards </li><li>Guide dev teams on scalable, secure, and maintainable solution design </li><li>Participate in or lead technical design sessions for complex projects </li><li>Drive platform integration and data strategy </li><li>Architect integrations between Salesforce and external systems (REST/SOAP, middleware, etc.) </li><li>Ensure data model design is optimized for performance, scalability, and reporting needs </li><li>Oversee data migration, quality, and synchronization strategies </li><li>Champion platform best practices and compliance </li><li>Establish and promote coding, security, and release management standards </li><li>Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies </li><li>Conduct technical reviews, audits, and health checks of the Salesforce environment </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams </li><li>Work closely with Product, Business, and IT leaders to align architectural direction with business strategy </li><li>Mentor Salesforce team members and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives </li><li>Communicate complex architectural concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders </li><li>Stay current with Salesforce innovation </li><li>Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce features, tools, and technologies </li><li>Guide the adoption of emerging platform capabilities and assess their business value </li></ul><p>Qualifications </p><ul><li>6+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions at scale </li><li>Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Platform capabilities </li><li>Proven track record of architecting complex integrations and data models </li><li>Experience with enterprise governance, scalable design, and performance optimization </li><li>Strong expertise in Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, APIs) </li><li>Experience with DevOps processes, CI/CD, and release management </li><li>Salesforce Development and Architect certifications (e.g., Application Architect and/or System Architect) </li><li>Ability to communicate strategic ideas and technical concepts to both business and IT stakeholders </li><li>Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and leading technical teams </li><li>Proven experience designing and implementing integrations between Salesforce and third-party or internal systems, especially those utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies (e.g., machine learning models, chatbots, predictive analytics). </li></ul><p></p><p>What We Offer</p><p>At GoTo, we believe in supporting our employees with a comprehensive range of benefits designed to fit your life—at work and beyond.
