This dynamic team allows nurses to practice at the top of their scope, collaborate closely with our physician and APP colleagues, and leverage technology and nursing expertise to decompress essential facilities across the Charlotte region and increase access to care for our most vulnerable populations. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association 2 years of RN experience and prior tirage and ED experience preferred. BSN preferred. What You’ll Do: Patient Flow Coordinators with the Single Call team triage internal medicine admissions for the hospitalists at CMC, Cabarrus, and the Virtual Hospital Medicine teams. It is a non-patient facing clinical role that involves intensive but efficient chart reviews, coordination with physicians, and the ability to switch tasks rapidly across different technologies. Practically, what this means is the Flow Coordinator is the only teammate logged into the secure chat groups for the Hospitalist Group, and we are responsible for reading and responding to all messages in a timely, accurate manner.
