## Key Role Overview This Relationship Banker role is an in-branch position responsible for engaging clients in the lobby, assisting them with transactions and educating them on self-service channels (mobile, online, ATM). The role requires accurate cash handling, building deep client relationships to identify financial priorities, and connecting clients to appropriate banking solutions while upholding the bank's risk culture. ## Key Responsibilities - Engage and educate clients in the lobby on self-service resources (mobile banking, online banking, ATM) and assist with transactions as needed. - Accurately and efficiently process cash transactions and manage cash responsibilities for the financial center. - Execute the bank's risk culture and strive for operational excellence by following established processes and guidelines. - Build relationships with clients to understand financial needs and connect them with appropriate products and solutions. - Grow business knowledge and network by partnering with subject-matter experts in small business, lending, and investments. - Manage financial center traffic, appointments, and outbound calls effectively to drive the client experience. - Have deep conversations with clients to understand financial and life priorities and identify solutions to meet their goals. ## Required Qualifications - High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent. - Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and focus on results, acting in the best interest of the client. - Effective collaborator who can build and nurture strong relationships. - Confident communicator, comfortable engaging all clients and identifying solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs. - Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms; confident in educating clients on simple banking transactions via self-service technologies. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to follow established processes and adhere to applicable laws and regulations. - Efficient time and capacity management with a results focus and flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed. - Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services industry, products and solutions. - One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment with individual sales goals. - Six months of cash handling experience. - Bachelor's Degree or business-relevant Associate’s Degree (business management, business administration, finance) is a plus. ## Compensation & Benefits - Pay range: $24.00 - $25.96 hourly; offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. - Predictable pay: role is compensated with a base salary (hourly) and is not incentive eligible. - Benefits eligible: industry-leading benefits, access to paid time off, and resources/support for employee physical, emotional, and financial well-being. ## Additional Information - Work arrangement: In-branch, client-facing role engaging clients in the lobby and managing financial center traffic. - Shift: 1st shift.
