- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations focused on foot and ankle health.
- Diagnose a wide range of podiatric conditions such as bunions, heel pain, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot ulcers, and deformities.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating medical interventions, surgical procedures, orthotics, and patient education.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques like X-rays and other medical imaging tools to support accurate diagnoses.
- Perform minor surgical procedures including suturing, toenail removal, and wound care with precision and aseptic technique.
- Manage post-operative care and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR systems) ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and documentation standards.
- Proven experience in outpatient podiatric medicine with a strong foundation in clinical evaluation and surgical procedures.
