Personal Injury Operations Advisor (Flexible, Project-Based Contract)

<p>We are a new personal injury law firm in CA. We are looking for experienced personal injury law firm professionals who can provide practical, real-world guidance on an assignment-by-assignment basis.</p><p>This opportunity is intended for professionals who understand how personal injury firms operate behind the scenes—from intake and case management through demand preparation, settlement, and case closing.</p><p><br></p><p>Advisors may be asked to participate in short calls, review proposed workflows, answer operational questions, provide feedback on processes, or help us better understand how successful PI firms manage their cases and teams. This is not a full-time position. Assignments will be offered based on your experience, availability, and the subject matter involved.</p><p><br></p>Who We Are Looking For<p>We are interested in connecting with professionals who have held roles such as:</p><ul><li>Case Manager</li><li>Director of Case Management</li><li>Director of Operations</li><li>Law Firm Administrator</li><li>Intake Manager or Director</li><li>Pre-Litigation Manager</li><li>Settlement or Disbursement Manager</li><li>Personal Injury Paralegal/Legal Assistant</li><li>Attorney or Associate</li></ul><p>Current and former PI law firm professionals are encouraged to apply.</p><p><br></p>Potential Assignments<p>Depending on your background, assignments may include:</p><ul><li>Explaining personal injury case workflows from intake through resolution</li><li>Advising on case-management procedures and best practices</li><li>Providing feedback on case-manager tools, systems, and workflows</li><li>Advising on medical treatment tracking and records collection</li><li>Discussing demand preparation and settlement workflows</li><li>Explaining how teams manage deadlines, caseloads, and case handoffs</li><li>Reviewing proposed processes from a law firm operator’s perspective</li><li>Participating in interviews, research calls, or advisory sessions</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Advisors will not be asked to represent clients, manage an active caseload, or solicit cases.</p><p><br></p>Qualifications<p>Ideal candidates will have:</p><ul><li>At least one year of experience working within a personal injury law firm</li><li>Strong knowledge of one or more areas of PI firm operations</li><li>Direct experience with firm processes</li><li>The ability to clearly explain how work is performed in practice</li><li>A practical understanding of the challenges faced by case managers, attorneys, clients, and firm leadership</li><li>The ability to maintain confidentiality and avoid sharing protected client or firm information</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Experience with platforms such as Filevine, CASEpeer, Litify, Clio, or similar case-management systems is helpful but not required.</p><p><br></p>Engagement Structure<ul><li>Flexible and remote</li><li>Project-based or assignment-based</li><li>No minimum time commitment</li><li>Assignments may range from short advisory calls to more involved workflow-review projects</li><li>Advisors may accept or decline assignments based on their availability</li><li>Compensation will be agreed upon before each assignment based on the scope and expected time commitment</li></ul>
