About the Role

Nao Now is seeking enthusiastic and engaging Online English Teachers to deliver 1-on-1 virtual lessons to students ages 5–12.

This is a fully remote, part-time independent contractor role. Teachers lead structured 25-minute lessons using our pre-built interactive curriculum. No lesson planning is required — your role is to bring energy, clarity, and encouragement to each session while helping students build confidence in spoken English.

We are looking for educators who are reliable, professional, and committed to creating a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach 25-minute, 1-on-1 English lessons to children ages 5–12
  • Deliver structured curriculum using provided lesson materials
  • Maintain an engaging and supportive on-camera presence
  • Provide clear and encouraging feedback
  • Maintain consistent weekly availability
  • Uphold professional communication standards

Schedule Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 hours per week during peak KST hours (5:30 PM – 10:00 PM KST)
  • Minimum 3-month commitment
  • Consistent weekly schedule required

Compensation

  • $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, evaluation performance, and local market conditions
  • Paid per completed 25-minute lesson
  • Compensation based on experience, qualifications, and evaluation performance
  • All curriculum provided (no unpaid lesson preparation required)
  • Training and onboarding are unpaid

Required Qualifications

  • US and Canadian teachers
  • Bachelor’s degree or proof of enrollment in a BA program
  • Experience working with children ages 5–12
  • Strong communication skills and on-camera presence
  • Reliable wired internet connection (minimum 60 Mbps)
  • Quiet and professional teaching environment
  • Headset (noise-cancelling preferred)

Preferred Experience

  • Teaching or tutoring experience
  • Youth coaching or mentoring
  • Online instruction experience
  • Performing arts or presentation experience

Technical Requirements

  • Wired ethernet connection required
  • Stable internet (minimum 60 Mbps)
  • Computer less than five years old recommended
  • Professional, distraction-free workspace
