Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift (12 hr)

Job Description $27.95 - $32.54 per hour depending on experience. $1,000 Retention bonus!! Arconic is currently in search of a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Cranberry Township, PA. location. This position works a 12-hour shift (6p - 6a) . <ul><li>For 12 hour shift, it rotates days on and off, week 1 work 36 hours then week 2 work 48 hours (mandatory overtime can occur on top of this). </li></ul>Kawneer is a large commercial window manufacturing company who supplies windows and aluminum to companies nationwide. As a member of the Kawneer Cranberry team, you could be assigned different tasks out on our plant floor to help us produce products. Our 401K program matches employee contributions up to 6%. Additionally, employees receive 11 paid holidays throughout the year and earn vacation time. Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities <ul><li>Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.</li><li>Identify and look up parts in MP2 maintenance program.</li><li>Use hand tools and other required equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot independently all types of mechanical equipment, hydraulics, mobile equipment, utilities and basic electrical controls.</li><li>Repair equipment with little documentation.</li><li>Provide improvement to preventative maintenance program by creating task lists.</li><li>Drive root cause analysis and implementation of long term solutions.</li><li>Use a drill press, band saw, lathe, grinder, test gauges, welding, burning and electrical equipment as needed.</li><li>Make recommendations and updates to equipment which result in an improvement to technical downtime.</li><li>Help train maintenance grade 10 employees. </li><li>Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments as regarding work accomplishments and findings.</li><li>Participate in L1 meetings, perform safety system requirements, log work hours and comments on work orders in MP2 maintenance software. </li></ul>Qualifications Basic Qualifications <ul><li>Must be eligible to work in the United States of America.
