Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position within a medical setting (i.e., physician practice or hospital) required. Current BLS / CPR Certification required as applicable to assigned area(s). Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently. Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed. Assesses and evaluates the patient responses to treatment or therapy in compliance with LH and nursing policies and procedures. Communicates appropriate and critical changes in the patient’s condition, status, and findings to the appropriate provider in a timely manner or as defined by policies and procedures and/or provider orders. Documents in the chart all clinical findings in an accurate and timely manner as required by regulatory mandates to maintain compliance with LH and nursing policies and procedures or as defined by regulatory requirements. Exhibits competency/currency as applicable in assigned area(s). Exhibits knowledge of staffing standards and a demonstrated commitment to cost containment with all resources. Performs administrative and technical skills in an organized and accurate manner according to policy and procedure as applicable to assigned area(s).
