Location / Workstyle: Remote<br><br>Skills: Oracle DBA<br><br>Experience Required: 5+ Years<br><br><strong>Role Expectations<br><br></strong>Regular Operations Support.<br><br>Asset and Competency Development (update existing SOPs and create new one based on day-to-day activities).<br><br>Strive for looking best practices in industry, analyze existing environment and propose remediation plans.<br><br><strong>Must Haves<br><br></strong>The AIX administrators are in charge of the AIX platform used by large IT firms to design solutions for their clients.<br><br>We currently working as Oracle / Exadata DBA activities.<br><br>Taking care of Service Now tasks , ETP's , CA incidents , Change Order tickets and when needed Netezza tickets etc.<br><br>Troubleshooting of various issues on EDWPRO / CSDPRO and other production databases like long running queries / sessions, waiting sessions, high CPU utilization issues and many more issues we take care and fix it.<br><br>Taking care of EDWPRO Quota Storage Report.<br><br>Taking care of database security and user issues as and when requested.<br><br>Taking care of Administer Databases, servers, help IT with the storage activities etc.<br><br>Working on Bridge calls on Tablespace issues, long running sessions, mostly on performance issues, adhoc request's etc.<br><br>Taking care of performance issues and health checks on various production databases like EDWPRO, CSDPRO etc. and resolving the issues by providing solutions.<br><br>Taking care of data pump refresh activities on oracle tables as and when request comes.<br><br>Taking care on permission issues for few directory paths on all databases across all environments as per the user requests<br><br><strong>Good To Haves<br><br></strong>Taking care of version issues in lower environments, discrepancies will normally arise if versions are not equal in all environments.<br><br>Taking care of File System /home is 100 % full, resolving it to avoid threshold alerts.<br><br>Taking care of several database reports and providing to the customer as well as TCS management as per there requirement on weekly basis.<br><br>Taking care of UNDO TABLESPACE, TEMP TABLESPACE and other tablespace issues in co-ordination with various users under budget approvals.<br><br>Responding to general queries of requestors via email and IM.<br><br>Taking care of open SR's and providing required information / patch details to our team as and when required.<br><br>Taking care of Neteeza DBA activities when other team needed badly.<br><br>Taking care of export / import activities on Neteeza database if required by other team.<br><br>Taking care of performance related issues, tablespaces issues, migration work, permission issues & user accounts etc.<br><br>Taking care of IBM severity tickets on server / database outage issues.<br><br>Patch activity and database upgradations are taking care by onshore and nearshore resources as primary and we from offshore are taking care as secondary if needed.<br><br>Monitoring of backup and re-store activities using RMAN, RAC, Data guard and ASM technologies system availability.<br><br>Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity., Project Code :
