Job Description
Responsible for efficiently processing of purchase and travel requisitions, procurement,
account reconciliations, budget revisions, and other related budgetary matters.
Monitor all budgets for compliance with federal legislation, state regulations, and
university guidelines. -
Assists the Executive Director in reviewing all grant proposals.
Prepares quarterly and yearly financial reports.
Oversees daily entries into SciQuest/Banner System.
Assist with labor distributions, monthly report and processes labor redistribution.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Economics or related field and
two years of managing institutional grant accounts. Proficient in computer applications for
word processing and data management. Strong knowledge of Grants Manager or
comparable data management system. Strong knowledge of SciQuest/Banner or comparable
system. Applicant must be able to communicate effectively with directors, deans, and
department heads; engage in critical thinking about the financial status of multiple
projects; make budget projections and retrieve financial data from institutional data banks
and transform this data into the appropriate format(s) required by the U.S. Department of
Education.
