You will be responsible for handling <strong>residential and commercial property</strong> losses, including inspections, scope review, damage assessment, estimate support, and related file documentation. This role is ideal for a field professional who can investigate losses, inspect sites, document findings, evaluate damages and exposures, and communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, carriers, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. <br><br>The successful candidate will bring strong technical judgment, professional communication, and the ability to manage field assignments efficiently and accurately. <br><br><strong>Compensation:</strong> This is a 100% commission‑based role with earnings paid at <strong>42% commission</strong>, supported by a<strong> bi-weekly draw of $1500.00</strong>.</div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>Conduct on-site inspections and field investigations for assigned claims</li> <li>Inspect property, structures, vehicles, equipment, or accident scenes as required by assignment</li> <li>Document damages, conditions, causation indicators, and other relevant findings through notes, measurements, photographs, and diagrams</li> <li>Evaluate loss facts and support investigation of coverage, liability, damages, and exposure</li> <li>Obtain statements from insureds, claimants, witnesses, or other involved parties when needed</li> <li>Prepare timely, accurate, and well-documented reports for clients and internal stakeholders</li> <li>Coordinate with examiners, managers, carriers, policyholders, vendors, attorneys, and other claim participants as needed</li> <li>Maintain complete file documentation in accordance with company standards, client instructions, and regulatory expectations</li> <li>Escalate complex issues, large-loss exposures, litigation indicators, or specialty claim concerns appropriately</li> <li>Manage field assignments within service expectations, turnaround times, and quality standards</li> <li>Travel throughout the assigned VA/MD territory as required</li> </ul><div><br></div><br><br><h3>Skills, knowledge & expertise</h3><ul> <li>3+ years of field adjusting or related claims experience</li> <li>Active adjuster license(s) and the ability to obtain additional licenses based on territory</li> <li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation</li> <li>Ability to travel locally and regionally within the assigned territory</li> <li>Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills</li> <li>Comfort using claims platforms, mobile documentation tools, and estimating/reporting systems</li> <li>Proficiency in Xactimate </li> <li>Experience handling field property claims</li> <li>Experience working with Xactimate and Xactware products</li> <li>Experience with third party resources used in property estimating such as Eagleview, Hover, etc</li> <li>Ability to work independently while managing deadlines, territory activity, and service expectations</li> <li>Strong investigative mindset with high attention to detail</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Professional presence when interacting with insureds, claimants, attorneys, vendors, and carrier representatives</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities in a fast-paced field environment</li> </ul><div><br></div><br><br><h3>Equal Employment Opportunity & Legal Notices</h3><div><strong>Benefits</strong></div><div>At Davies North America, we are dedicated to supporting the well‑being and future of our qualifying employees.
