The role retains authority over ledger integrity, accounting decisions, key journal entries, reporting certifications, and submissions, while overseeing affiliate and third-party services. The Director partners with Finance, Treasury, Risk, Legal, Tax, Operations, Technology, and Internal Audit and serves as the Bank’s accounting subject-matter expert for regulators and external auditors.
