Role Description

We are seeking a local independent contractor to support a growing digital platform focused on community engagement, visitor experience, and online user interaction. This role combines website management, AI assistant support, and digital operations. The ideal candidate is a versatile problem‑solver who can manage content, maintain systems, and improve user experience across multiple digital tools.

Key Responsibilities

Website Management (Wix)

  • Update and maintain website pages, content, and media
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and SEO best practices
  • Maintain consistent branding and user experience
  • Add new listings, updates, and structured content as needed
AI Assistant Support
  • Maintain and update the platform’s AI‑powered assistant
  • Manage its knowledge base and conversational accuracy
  • Improve flows, responses, and user experience over time
  • Ensure the assistant stays current with new information
Automations & Integrations
  • Maintain workflows using Make.com or similar tools
  • Ensure clean data flow between website, forms, and databases
  • Troubleshoot and optimize automations
  • Support integrations with CRM and data systems
Database & Content Management
  • Maintain structured data in Airtable or similar platforms
  • Add new entries, categories, and metadata
  • Ensure accuracy, organization, and consistency across systems
General Digital Operations
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across the platform
  • Monitor analytics and user behavior
  • Suggest improvements to user experience and performance
  • Support digital tasks as the platform grows
Required Skills
  • Experience managing websites (Wix preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with AI chat tools or conversational platforms
  • Experience with no‑code automation tools (Make.com, Zapier, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of structured data tools (Airtable, Notion, etc.)
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with customer experience or digital engagement
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and web performance
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, etc.)
  • Comfort working with multimedia tools (video, images, etc.)

Starting Salary Base $28 – $45 per hour

20-30 hours per week to start
