Food Preparation & Food Handling</p> <p>• Assist with the preparation of meals, and serving meals</p> <p>• Follow residents' diets and food preferences</p> <p>• Take the menu orders from the residents</p> <p>• Set and clear tables in the dining rooms and ensure they are sanitized</p> <p>• Ensure you are following proper food handling techniques</p> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>• Have a valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain</p> <p>• You are committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullest </p> <p>• You are detailed-oriented coupled with strong customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staff</p> <p>• You may bring experience  in food service  from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality</p> <p>• While possessing a Food Service Worker Certificate would be excellent, it’s not a requirement</p> <p>• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
