<p><b>Costs Draftsperson- UK Wide </b> </p><p><b>*MUST LIVE IN THE UK* </b> </p><p><b>Fully Homebased </b> </p><p><b>Full Time & Part Time Available </b> </p><p><b>£30,000-£50,000 (Fully negotiable for the right candidate) </b> </p><p><b>Bonus scheme available </b> </p><p>We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected client, who is looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced Costs Draftsperson. </p><p>This is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working and self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail, who thrives working independently and is confident managing deadlines and targets. There is also the potential for future progression, including the opportunity to lead a small team or manage a dedicated client account. </p><p><b>The Ideal Candidate Will Have: </b> </p><ul><li>Previous experience in a Costs Drafting role (essential) </li><li>Strong attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage their own caseload. </li><li>Excellent time management and organisational skills. </li><li>Experience using Proclaim and Costs Master would be advantageous (but not essential). </li> </ul><p><b>Key Responsibilities: </b> </p><ul><li>Drafting bills of costs for a variety of cases including PI claims, industrial disease claims, commercial matters, clinical negligence claims, and credit claims. </li><li>Preparing schedules of costs and statements for trial. </li><li>Providing costs advice to clients both in writing and over the phone on settlement recovery or technical issues. </li><li>Drafting and negotiating Costs Budgets and preparing for CCMC hearings. </li><li>Attending CCMC/CMC hearings to provide advocacy in relation to Costs Budgets and/or directions. </li><li>Regularly reviewing files and managing tasks within Proclaim to ensure timely progression. </li><li>Meeting agreed performance targets including daily chargeable time and annual billing targets. </li> </ul><p>This role requires someone who can work to the highest professional standards and in accordance with regulatory requirements, money laundering regulations, and industry codes of practice. </p><p>If you are looking to join a supportive and forward-thinking firm with opportunities for growth and development, we would love to hear from you. </p><p>If you feel your skills and experience meets the criteria for this position, please apply directly to this advert or contact <b>Alicia </b> at or call 0151 556 2090 </p>
