As we prepare for our upcoming symposium and workshop series, we are seeking a skilled Website & IT Lead to enhance our digital presence and drive engagement.

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Website & IT Lead to update and optimize our websites to increase user engagement, improve user experience, and drive registrations for our upcoming workshops and symposium.

This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with marketing insight , and understands how to design digital experiences that convert.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit and update both the Meet the Motivators and Resilient Woman Program websites
  • Improve website functionality, navigation, and user experience (UX/UI)
  • Optimize landing pages to increase event registrations and participation
  • Integrate and manage event registration systems (e.g., Eventbrite)
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and performance optimization
  • Implement SEO best practices to increase visibility
  • Add and update content related to upcoming workshops and symposium
  • Track and analyze website performance (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging and campaigns (e.g., Google Ads)
Key Deliverables
  • Updated, user-friendly websites with clear conversion pathways
  • Optimized event landing pages for workshops and symposium
  • Improved engagement metrics (time on site, click-through rates, registrations)
  • Functional and seamless registration integration
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in website development and management
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI design and conversion optimization
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Wix, Squarespace)
  • Knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools
  • Experience integrating event platforms (Eventbrite or similar)
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience working with nonprofits or social impact organizations is an asset
