The areas of responsibility are </span><span>studios, production control rooms, record and playout servers, augmented and virtual reality systems, remote production (REMI), artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies all within two state-of-the-art SMPTE 2110 native facilities for linear and OTT streaming services<span>. This position requires problem solving skills, technical depth, and operational knowledge. This person is also expected to show flexibility in shift work, including occasional weekend and holiday shifts. Travel between WBD sites may be required. The skill set demanded by this position is dynamic and will continue to change rapidly. This individual must demonstrate the ability to accept and adapt to these changes while presenting a willing and positive attitude.<span> </span></span></span></p><p></p><p><b>Your Role Accountabilities...</b></p><p>Associate Engineer responsible for technical success of WBD live and taped events. Assisting on-site Engineeer-in-Charge for broadcast productions such as CNN’s prime time lineup, Bleacher Reports live productions, as well as any taped events and all other news, entertainment and sporting events. Is a technology point person for studio and production control room productions. Provides tier 2 support, including: troubleshooting the wiring of studio cameras, set monitors, audio, lighting and ethernet connections on set or in production spaces.</p><p></p><p><span>Staff Knowledge Sharing – Participate in on-site and remote training on technical systems utilized for day-to-day operation and responsibilities. Clearly communicate amongst team and production staff. Create or update documentation for equipment inventory, status and workflows.</span></p><p></p><p>Customer Service – Work with our partners to satisfy their needs and requests. Serve as an information gatherer for Engineering team. Cultivate cooperative relationships between customers and Engineering staff to ensure technical as well as operational readiness. Provide daily reporting related to operational issues and/or Air impacting events. </p><p>Assist in executing the development, testing and implementation of new systems, software and equipment. Create and maintain documentation. Maintain follow-up with appropriate parties to ensure resolution.
