Amazon Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Logistics and Supply Chain

Job Summary:

Amazon is seeking a meticulous and proactive Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our logistics and supply chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the accuracy of goods received and dispatched, and supporting inventory management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and Receiving: Accurately receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying item counts, quality, and documentation. Process outgoing shipments, ensuring they are properly packed, labeled, and prepared for dispatch.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control and stock organization to maintain accurate stock levels. Conduct regular cycle counts and support the maintenance of inventory records.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs. Generate reports and ensure all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all goods received meet Amazons quality standards. Report discrepancies and damages to the appropriate department.
  • Coordination: Work closely with warehouse associates, managers, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth coordination of shipments and materials.
