The Advanced Applications Engineer will also work closely and collaboratively with the Regional Sales Manager and Area Manager(s) to ensure channel partner’s experience a high level of support and experience.   </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)</b></h2> </div><div><ul> <li>Work with the Regional Sales team to support channel partners and end users with:<br>•    Pre-sales system design, Supporting AV planners and system integrators in system planning with Q-SYS components.  Preparation of cost estimates and tender specifications for Q-SYS system designs.<br>•    Post-sales support, Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.  Escalation of unresolved issues to internal teams.  Manage the follow-up procedure after troubleshooting.</li> <li>Training:  Conduct in person dealer training in market with partners.  Support training efforts with regional sales team members.  Conduct training classes in experience centers.  Co-develop new training curriculum with team.</li> <li>Monitor and report on relevant information from the field as it pertains to market trends, competitive landscape, sales opportunities and channel activities. Collaborate internally with the Americas go-to-market team, product development team and marketing.  Conducting regional competition analysis.  Contribution to product life cycle measures.</li> <li>Attend regional, national and internal meetings as required.  Trade show booth builds, set up and tear down as well as technical troubleshooting will be required. </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Skills and Minimum Experience Required</b></h2> </div><div><p>•    Bachelor’s Degree preferred<br>•    AV and IT industry certifications are a plus<br>•    5 years of AV industry experience<br>•    Must be fluent with audio, video, control and networking technology.<br>•    Knowledge of DSP design software, control coding and technical drawing programs.<br>•    Strong understanding of audio visual system designs, AV networking, support and troubleshooting.<br>•    Ability to use Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce and AV industry software.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Preferred Skills and Experience</b></h2> </div><div><ul> <li>Experience in AV design and sales engineering is highly desirable</li> <li>Experience in Unified Communications and Network Operations Centers is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with Q-SYS Designer, LUA scripting is a plus</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Travel Requirements</b></h2> </div><ul style="margin-top:0.0;margin-bottom:0.0"><li>21-40% </li></ul></div></div><p style="margin-bottom:11.0px"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">QSC. is owned by Acuity Inc., which is located in the United States.
