Point-of-Care Partners (POCP) is an innovative health information technology (HIT) management consultancy and provider of strategic electronic health record (EHR) solutions. Our clients include health insurance Payers, health care Providers, and health information Technology vendors (PP&T), and life science/biotech companies (Pharma). We provide HIT expert consultancy services to help our clients with their strategic positioning and management of the evolution of HIT and its impact on their business.

We support Pharma with understanding how HIT impacts the physician and patient experience. We also serve as program managers to a variety of different HL7® FHIR® Accelerators which are member-led multi-stakeholder collaboratives advancing standards for greater interoperability in the healthcare industry. As the current and future environment, regulations, and requirements in HIT use evolve, we are growing our team to support that evolution.

The Role The Account Manager will drive engagement with key stakeholders within life science companies, owning deliverables from start to finish across a variety of client projects. You’ll work closely with the account directors, medical team members, graphic designers, copywriters, editors, and subject matter experts to develop an array of resources for healthcare providers and internal stakeholders within the life science organization. You will be responsible for creating and managing project timelines and prioritizing deliverables for the team and with your clients. We want to hear from you if you have a natural passion for the healthcare industry and client services, paired with agency account management experience with a focus on life sciences. Agency account management and Pharma experience are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Account Director and General Manager, Life Sciences, to help scope relevant and impactful resources that will meet the goals and objectives for a life science brand client
  • Manage account deliverables to ensure the client’s marketing and creative goals are met
  • Drive and manage the workflow of all project team members to ensure the best quality of deliverables
  • Develop and manage project timelines and resource capacity support through Microsoft Planner
  • Develop milestones and timelines for accomplishing projects and completing deliverables according to customer agreed upon scope of work (SOWs) for both internal team and external client reviews
  • Orchestrate internal resources and freelance help in accordance with project specifications and timelines
  • Collaborate with internal staff, subject matter experts, and freelancers, providing ongoing guidance to the project team regarding items including but not limited to structure, scope of content, technology requirements, art and design, and development needs
